Loans - FOCUS

As part of our FOCUS teen financial program, we have developed a Youth Loan. Loan amounts may range from $50.00 to $500.00 with terms up to 18 months.

The major purpose of this program is to instill a sense of responsibility and accountability in our young borrowers.

When applying for a FOCUS Loan, the following may be considered:

  • Age of the member (16 years +)
  • Length of time participating in FOCUS or Monty Moose Programs
  • Savings account history
  • Employment history (or source of income to repay the loan)
  • Recent report card
  • Legitimate need for the loan
  • Reference from a teacher or guidance counselor
