About Us - Membership Our
Field of Membership includes persons who live, work, worship,
or attend school in, and businesses and other legal entities
located in the following towns and cities in the State of Maine
: Lewiston, Auburn, Durham, Lisbon or Sabattus in Androscoggin
County; Bowdoin and Topsham in Sagadahoc County; or Pownal
in Cumberland County. We
also support and encourage full family Membership. Relatives of
current Members are welcome to join and enjoy the benefits of Membership
at the Lisbon Community Federal Credit Union.
Opening a Share Savings Account is your ticket to Membership! Eligible Members may join the Credit Union by opening a savings account with a minimum $25 deposit. After establishing Membership, you can open any number of savings accounts, apply for loans, and use other services Lisbon Community Federal Credit Union offers to MEMBERS ONLY!!! It's your Credit Union As a Credit Union Member, you own your Credit Union. You are entitled to elect, and be elected to, the volunteer Board of Directors, which sets policies for the operation of the Credit Union based on the needs and wishes of the Members. The Board of Directors sets dividend rates, loan interest rates, and fees, among other things, and also determines Credit Union policy. In addition, your Credit Union works cooperatively with Maine's other Credit Unions and the Maine Credit Union League. Membership
