The SuperLoanII Program includes
the following Stafford and PLUS loans offered under the Federal
Family Education Loan Program:
Subsidized Federal Stafford
Loans - these loans are for students demonstrating financial need
as determined by the Federal Government. Maximum loan amount
is based on the student's year in school. Interest accruing
during qualified periods is paid by the Federal Government.
Unsubsidized Federal
Stafford Loans - a non-need based loan that is often
taken to supplement a subsidized Stafford Loan. Maximum loan
amount is based on the student's year in school. The Federal
Government does not pay the interest on these loans.
Federal PLUS Loans - for
all eligible parents of dependent undergraduate students, regardless
of financial need. Loan amounts are available for the full
cost of education minus any financial aid.
