In January of 2009, Maine Credit Unions began participating in a nationwide program called Invest in America. This program is an exclusive partnership between Credit Unions from all 50 states and General Motors (GM) and Chrysler. Through Invest in America, GM and Chrysler are offering cash discounts to Members who purchase certain vehicles. To be eligible for a discount, you just simply have to be a Member of a participating Credit Union. Invest in America runs through June 30th, 2009 but the date may be extended depending on its success.
