Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Branch

Volunteers and staff members of Lisbon Community Federal Credit Union attended a groundbreaking ceremony on July 26, 2011 to announce the construction of a branch office at 802 Sabattus Street in Lewiston. Representatives from both Landry/French Construction Company and Theriault Landmann Associates also joined Credit Union Officials for the ceremony.

This new full-service branch—featuring a drive-up area, Shared Branching and a SURF Network ATM—is being constructed on the corner of Sabattus Street, Old Greene Road and Montello Street in Lewiston.

“The Board is very excited about this new opportunity for the Lisbon Community Federal Credit Union and the Lewiston-Auburn Community,” said John Silvestri, the President of the Board of Directors. “Our great services and very attractive rates have resulted in many happy Members in the Lisbon Community for over 50 years. Our Members know that we take very seriously the Credit Union philosophy of People Helping People and we are very anxious to "Build the Futures and Preserve the Dreams" of our new Members in the Lewiston and Auburn area."

Construction is expected to be completed by December 1 and a grand opening event will be scheduled accordingly.
