Recent News from the Board of Directors

Janis Moore, a long-time member of the Credit Union’s Board of Directors, did not seek re-election at our 52nd Annual Meeting – held on March 6, 2011. She had been a member of the Board since 1996. From 2001 to 2010, she served as President of the Board and was serving as Vice President since 2010. Mrs. Moore has volunteered numerous hours to help shape the Credit Union into the success organization it is today. Notably, she was instrumental in the process of offering several eServices such as Home Banking, Bill Payer and eStatements. The Credit Union would like to thank Mrs. Moore for her dedicated service to the Membership during her tenure. Her contributions will indeed be missed.

To fill the vacant Director position, Jessica Maloy was elected for a three year term at the Annual Meeting. Jessica is a 1996 graduate of Lisbon High School. She graduated from Western New England College in 2000 where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Jessica has been employed with the Town of Lisbon since 2010 as the Finance Director. She held a prior position of lead analyst with Iberdrola, USA in the Accounting & Auditing Department. Jessica is an active member in the community. She has been part of the Lisbon Community School PTO for 4 years. She coaches soccer through the Lisbon Recreation Department and she is currently a Girl Scout Troop Leader for Troop 1629. Jessica resides in Lisbon Falls with her husband, Patrick, and their two daughters, Jordyn & Sophie.

Due to the change, new officers have been appointed to the Board of Directors. Brenda Rogers (previously serving as Secretary) has been appointed to serve as Vice President and Debra Adams has been appointed to serve as Secretary.
