Traditional Personal Loans

The Credit Union offers two types of Personal Loans. Our traditional fixed rate Personal Loan allows you to borrow up to $20,000.00 for up to 7 years. Members use personal loans to finance small home improvement projects, consolidate bills, go on vacation, and a number of other reasons.

PREFERRED CREDIT LINE

With a Preferred Credit Line, the Credit Union issues you a credit limit, and you access that credit limit when it is convenient for you. Features of this popular program include:

  • Advances can be made by writing a check, through Home Banking & Mobile Banking, or at the teller line

  • A variable interest rate applies to this program. The rate charged is the Prime Rate + 3.00% and may change monthly. The maximum rate that may be imposed is 18%

  • Minimum monthly payments change whenever an advance on the account is made. Minimum monthly payments are equal to 2% of the balance following the last advance made to the account

Pledged

Don't spend your hard-earned savings. Most Members find it easier to repay a loan than to "repay themselves" after making a purchase. While pledged as collateral, your savings, money market, or certificate continues to earn dividends and as your loan balance reduces, so does the pledged amount.

We offer flexible terms, and the best part is that these loans also have lower interest rates.

FOCUS

As part of our FOCUS teen financial program, we have developed a Youth Loan. Loan amounts may range from $50.00 to $500.00.

Checking Overdraft Line of Credit

We've always offered overdraft protection from a savings account, but you also have another option! For added protection, you can apply for a revolving line of credit that will be linked to your checking account. Limits range from $500.00 to $2,000.00.

Any time your account becomes overdrawn, we will transfer the exact amount needed to cover a transaction. Types of overdrafts include: checks, electronic transactions, automatic payments or transfers, and Visa Debit Card transactions.

There are three overdraft options available: the funds are withdrawn from savings first then your credit line; from your credit line then from savings; or from your credit line only.
